All interstate and republican motorways open in Armenia

It was snowing in several regions of Armenia – Stepanavan, Tashir, Alaverdi, Noyemberian, Dilijan, and Ijevan as of 9:30 am December 17, Armenian Ministry of Transport and Communication said.

Sections of roads in Talin, Akhurian, Artik, Ashotsk, Ashtarak, Aragats, Aparan, Spitak, Hrazdan, Sevan, Dilijan, Gavar, Chambarak, Tavush, Sisian, and Goris as well as the Selim mountain pass are covered with ice.

Drivers are advised to use Ttu Jur-Navur road only in extreme cases from 5:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Snow removal work is done. All interstate and republican motorways are open to traffic.
